Mom:”Dr. my daughter threw up blood.”
Dr. “Was it fresh blood?”
Mom: “Fresh blood what does that mean?”
Dr.: “Was it red?”
Mom: “Yes bright red.”
Dr.: “Red means it’s coming from the nose. Brown means it’s coming from the stomach. “
Mom: “Great info, who knew!”
Thought any one who’s a caretaker would need this information.

I think this is a smart thing to create and very needed medically based, safe ear piercing clinics!
Medical Ear Piercing Centers
I’d love to hear from anyone who used their service. I got my daughter’s ears pierced at her Pediatrician’s office.
I’ve decided I am not going to feed my kids at the appointed breakfast, lunch and dinner intervals or time. I have consistently done that for five years and now with two kids in the picture (I don’t know how others do it with more.) it’s become a exercise of busy work for me that I do not need. They do not eat the food, especially if they recently had a snack, and most of the time I feel guilty that they are wasting it and it becomes my snack, typical mom.
I’m only feeding them from now on when they are hungry and if it’s not ready by the time they are, all the better because I am then guaranteed that they will eat (or most of it)! What if they don’t finish it when preparations for bed begin you ask? Then we must get that routine done in record time and off to bed before they realize they are still hungry. They will live, tomorrow is another day.

I came downstairs to find my son had opened a Lifesaver wrapper exposing the last two candies which were sitting on top of the wrapper. He looked at me with a half guilty half busted look and said “Mom I wasn’t going to eat them I was just looking at them.” Yeah right!
